Personal loans for Indian Railways employees
Railway staff are a recognised employer category in the salaried personal loan plan our partner bank shares with us, with their own multiplier tables by salary band. Enter your details once and the app shows the plan and the amount that band allows.
How the category works
Banks group employers into categories and apply a multiplier to monthly take-home salary for each tenure. Railway employees have a dedicated set of bands starting from a monthly salary of ₹25,000, which is what the app uses to work out the amount you can request.
What decides your amount
Your take-home salary, your existing EMIs and the tenure you choose. Longer tenures carry a higher multiplier; the bank confirms the final amount, rate and fee after checking your documents.
Documents the bank usually asks for
Nothing is needed to compare or enquire. The bank asks for these once it picks up your enquiry.
- PAN and Aadhaar
- Railway ID card
- Last 3 months of salary slips
- Last 3 months of salary credit statements
- Form 16
